Terms

The rules for using this shop. There is one of us and this is a small thing made carefully, so these are short and say what they mean.

Who you are dealing with

Regalito Games is run by Ofer Chama, an individual based in Spain, contactable at pixelgamehello@gmail.com. That is who you are buying from and who to write to about an order. Using the shop means accepting these terms.

Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. We never see or store your card details — they go to Stripe and nowhere else.

What you get

You fill in a form describing someone. We build a small browser game around what you chose and give you a link to it. The game opens in any modern browser, on a phone or a computer, with nothing to install. It saves progress on the device it is played on.

You get exactly the things listed on the form: the zones, shops, characters, pet and dedication you picked. It is a place to wander around rather than a game to finish, and it is not a custom commission — the world is assembled from our art and our writing.

Price

A game costs €29. One payment, VAT included, nothing recurring. The price is shown on the order form before you pay and again on Stripe's payment page, and it is the whole of what you pay — there is no delivery charge and no extra at the end.

You pay first and the game is made and handed over immediately afterwards. If the payment goes through and something on our side fails, you get your money back in full — see Changing your mind, below.

Games made while the shop was free stay free and keep working. Nothing here bills you again for one you already have.

Changing your mind

A game is digital content made to your order and delivered the moment it is paid for. Under Spanish and EU consumer law that ends the usual 14-day right to withdraw — but only because you asked for it to be delivered straight away and ticked the box saying so. That tick is the last thing on the order form, it is not pre-ticked, and without it we do not take the order.

That is the law's answer, and it is not the whole of ours. In practice:

Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within a few days of us agreeing to one.

Your link

Each game has its own address, made of random characters so it cannot be found by guessing. Anyone who has the link can open the game. There is no password and no account — that is deliberate, because a present has to be forwardable. Treat the link the way you would treat a shared document link.

We will keep your game working for as long as we run this service. We are not promising it will exist forever: if we ever have to shut down, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email to everyone who ordered, and we will offer you a downloadable copy of your game to keep. If you ask us to delete a game we will, and the link will stop working permanently.

What you promise us

When you place an order you confirm that:

We can refuse or remove a game that breaks this, without notice. It has not happened yet and we would rather it stayed that way.

What belongs to whom

The engine, the writing, the music and the artwork stay ours (or our licensors'). What you get is permission to play your game, show it to people, and forward the link — for personal, non-commercial use, for as long as the service runs.

The names and the dedication you wrote remain yours. You give us permission to use them for the one purpose of building and serving your game, and nothing else.

Please do not resell games, pull the artwork out of them, or pass the assets on. Some of the art is licensed to us on terms that forbid it being redistributed, even modified — which is also why the credits screen in every game has to stay where it is.

Getting something fixed

If a name is misspelled, or something in the game is wrong or broken, email us with your order reference and we will fix it or rebuild the game. We would much rather hear about it than have you quietly give up.

What we can and cannot promise

We take real care with this, but the service is provided as it is. We cannot promise it will be available without interruption, or that it will run on every device ever made — it needs a reasonably modern browser.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under Spanish or EU law, or excludes our liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Beyond that, our liability to you is limited to what you paid for the game.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one on this page on the day you order, and material changes get a new date at the top.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer you can bring a claim in the courts where you live, and you may use the EU's online dispute resolution platform. Email us first — it is quicker and we will almost certainly just fix it.
